When can I go back?

5/55/5 • 28/9/2025

We had such a fun time staying at Club Med Punta Cana! If you like activities and trying new and perhaps thrilling things then this is the place for you. From circus school to golf, kayaking and sailing to yoga, racket sports and basketball, and our absolute favorite thing was archery with Clemente, this place is loaded with fun. Call up Gaetan and he will help you for all your Zen concierge needs. Made our group trip absolutely amazing and one we will truly remember forever. The zen oasis was our favorite spot and really enjoyed the suites. Once the construction is done you'll never want to leave!!!

Birthday Do-Over

5/55/5 • 26/9/2025

I had an amazing time staying in the Zen Oasis for 8 nights. I had stayed 1 year prior when there was the fire and was relocated to Miches for the remainder of my trip. I really enjoyed my time in Zen last year so I returned for a birthday do-over. Lauranne and her team were great hosts. Any small issues I had were addressed by Mehu & Guetan and they were always pleasant when I stopped by to pick up a beach towel or had any questions.
I enjoyed doing activities with the sports team. Shout out to Miguel and guest yoga instructor Emily C. who was great helping to create more Zen! Stretching with Melanie was enjoying too!
GO's who are extra special are Marshall & Vero "Coco"! We had a fabulous dinner at Indigo with them. They set up wonderful meal and made my friend and I feel "super special!
Shout out to the Bar staff at Zen:
They took care of all our needs
Alena made the best cappuccinos!
The nightly entertainment was great!
I enjoyed the "theme" nights
I will definetly return to this village! I can't wait for the full remodel to happen but the staff is what really stands out here at Club Med Punta Cana!

September in Punta Cana? Magnifique!!

5/55/5 • 25/9/2025

Club Med is a special place! I love the app, all the activities, and the suggested dress code. If you go, pack for the dress code!--the pictures look amazing!!--it really adds to the overall theme of UNITY (Club 45).
Construction is nearly complete on a large structure, which is going to be beautiful.
The Zen Oasis, the 18+ area, is tranquil and it's easy to lose track of time.
I had a massage at the spa, which was priced well, and I left feeling great.
Our room was spotless, and our request for extra coffee and water was met immdiately. The bed was comfortable, and I even fell asleep on th couch a few times. We never heard our neighbors, and we slept well.
The food was tasty, and Chef Antonio at Indigo created beautiful bites.
Shows every night! The My Club Med App is a must, there are more activities than you can believe.
Yoga classes in the Palapa were my favorite.

The best part? THE INCREDIBLE STAFF!

These people truly made my week:
Miguel, Sport Manager
Guy
Vero "Coconut"
Damienn
Dani
Melanie
Cynthia

I will return, hopefully with my entire family!!! I LOVE CLUB MED

My Haunted Vacation

4/54/5 • 21/9/2025

The first knock came at 9:59 AM. A savage pounding that rattled my skull like a firing squad. I’d been up until 3 AM drinking rum, so the intrusion felt personal. I stumbled into a robe, flung open the door - only to find nothing. A ghost. A Caribbean poltergeist?

Ten minutes later, it came again. I realized now it was housekeeping: smiling, insistent, armed with fresh sheets and industrial-strength sprays. In broken Spanish I explained I didn’t need to be changed daily like a helpless baby, but they came back again anyway - sometimes ten minutes later, sometimes half an hour. Day after day, like clockwork, a Kafkaesque ritual of pounding doors and polite refusals. Somewhere, I imagined, the universe was laughing at me. Perhaps it was telling me to stop drinking.

By midafternoon I’d crawl out of my cave, sunglasses glued to my face, and stagger into the sun. The resort itself was a carnival of distractions: golf swings, pools, volleyball, waterslides. The food was glorious - beef, pork, shellfish, pasta piled into towers that would shame a Roman emperor. I ate like a condemned man, then lurched into the club nights where the same Top 40 hits echoed with Groundhog Day persistence. Alone, of course. The GOs, allegedly the lifeblood of Club Med’s social scene, treated me like a phantom, while other guests also scattered from my resting sour face. Maybe my loneliness was self-inflicted.

By Day 5, the vibe totally curdled. Staff who’d previously greeted me by name suddenly looked through me, as if a switch had been flipped. Coincidentally—or not—this was right after my meltdown at the concierge desk, when I finally snapped about the endless morning knocking. From that moment, I got the sense that everyone, staff and guests alike, wanted me gone. Honestly, so did I.

And yet, it wasn’t all bad. The weather was forgiving, the food always rich, the drinks always prompt. Club Med Punta Cana was less a vacation and more like a fever dream: part absurd comedy, part bureaucratic nightmare, laced with sunshine, duck fat, and the steady pounding at my door. Would I return? Probably not. But it left me with a story, a headache, and a strange respect for the persistence of their housekeeping.
