Great summer vacation

5/55/5 • 19/8/2025

We had a great experience. It was our first Club Med stay, and I liked the all-inclusive environment. It's like a higher-end, non-travelling cruise. My six-year-old stayed with us some days and attended mini club other days. The kids' club has a pretty consistent routine of activities, but they stay busy with scavenger hunts, hikes, drawing, and games. The kids' club staff works really hard. Special shoutout to Sarah who was lovely. The staff speaks English, but many of the kids do not.
The food was good and there were plenty of options. However, I do wish there was a sit-down restaurant with more options included in the stay. The drinks were also good and the choices were extensive. Zach was a great bartender.
The resort is peaceful with an emphasis on physical activity. It's great for people who like to relax, work out, and eat. However, if you're looking for the beach, travel, or an adventure, you might want to stay elsewhere (although they do have mountain biking). The resort is not close to town.
They have fitness classes every day, including yoga, stretching, tabata, water aerobics, HIIT, etc. I took a couple of stretching classes which were okay and muscle awakening and abs and glutes with Sam who was a good and friendly instructor.
Everyone at the resort was friendly and the provided shuttle (if you book the plane with them) was very convenient and got us to the hotel and the airport right on time!
I will definitely consider coming back next summer.

Summer family's vacation

4/54/5 • 16/8/2025

Our kids loved it. Baby and mini club are amazing. Circus + hiking + dome + pool, good variety. GO : Marine, Cassandra, Beatrice, Sarah, Zac, Opal, Marie-Jeanne, brown hair girl wearing the purple cape, Arthur... big thanks, our kids lived their best life.

Harrison, village manager, amazing 👏

The price paid for our stay vs adult activities in summer season was a bit disappointing. You need to be really into mountain bike + hiking to maximize your stay.
We still had a lot of fun, but same price as an another Club Med, but not the same experience as an adult.

Food + GO + kids Club is really the best part of our 8 night stay.

Winter season must be completely different experience though.

Would love to see the termal experience as part of the all inclusive, not an $$ spa extra

Beds are great, pillow are empty, easy things to improve.

Overall, would go back, but would like to see lower price for summer season.

Always Great!

This was our 3rd summer at Club Med Charlevoix. We travelled from Florida and we typically stay 10 to 12 days so we get a good feel for the place and how it is run. So many interesting things to do and see. Beautiful area and worth the drive to the location.

I would like to start out by discussing the food. Excellent selection and variety of food that never got boring. Since I have some food sensitivities/allergies, I was so impressed by the special care that the restaurant staff provided, especially Chef Jordan. I cannot being to express my gratitude for his caring and hands on assistance, no matter how busy he was, to provide me with delicious dinners. The sous chefs were also amazing at breakfast, personally preparing dishes that I could eat. The entire restaurant team truly cares about keeping the guests happy and satisfied.

I was travelling with an 8 year old that had a blast in the mini club. This is the first time he was independent and allowed to sign himself in and out of the kids club and he loved it. It is a very safe place and he always knew where I was and was able to find me. It was great to know that kids under 12 were not allowed to ride the elevator unaccompanied and we were always connecting throughout the day. It was a perfect balance of him spending time with his peers and our meals, shows and hikes together. The GO's working in the mini club were amazing, spending long hours keeping him busy and tirelessly playing soccer with him for hours because that is what he wanted to do non stop :)

The staff at the front desk was caring and responsive to any concerns or issues.

The shows were great and there is a lot of talent here, especially the circus acts. Since most guests come for shorter stays of between 2 and 4 days, the shows are repeated often so a few new shows would have been appreciated but it is totally understood and we enjoyed watching them again.

I would like to end this review by saying that when we were there in the summer of 2024, we met a GO named Harrison. I believe he was in charge of entertainment at the time and we found him to be so personable, engaging and entertaining. As we were leaving to return home, he was leaving for training to become a Village Chief. To our most pleasant surprise, when we arrived at Charlevoix this year, we learned that he was now the Chef de Village. I have been a Club Med traveler for over 30 years, having travelled to many Club Med Villages in various parts of the world. While we were at Charlevoix for 12 days, I observed how, unlike most Village Chiefs, who are only minimally seen out and about and usually just in the evenings for show time, this was not the case with Harrison. He is always present, day and night, walking around, checking everything, speaking to the guests, appearing in the show and really seems to have his finger on the pulse of the Village and it shows. The GOs and the guests appear to love him and that makes for a happy place to be.

We are very much looking forward to returning again next summer.
