It has been more than 10 years since our last visit to Club Med, and stepping into Club Med Bintan felt like time had stood still—in the most beautiful way possible. While the world outside has changed drastically with technology and the pandemic, the warmth, sincerity, and hospitality here remain untouched. Being in the hospitality industry myself and a frequent traveler, I have witnessed how time has made people colder, but the G.O team at Club Med Bintan remains as pure and welcoming as ever.
The moment we arrived, the handheld signage that read “Welcome Home” brought tears to my eyes. It was more than just a greeting; it was an invitation to let my guard down and truly relax, knowing I was in a place filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. This small but incredibly thoughtful gesture set the tone for an unforgettable stay.
The Culinary Experience – A Feast for the Senses
As a foodie, meals are a highlight of my travels, and once again, Club Med Bintan exceeded expectations. The variety of cuisines—from international to Indian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and of course, Indonesian—was well-planned and executed to perfection. Contrary to the usual buffet-style meals, here I was treated to gourmet delights: duck confit, lamb chops, ribeye steak (perfectly medium-rare), grilled tiger prawns, smoked salmon, scallops, authentic naan with flavorful lamb curry, spicy pork kimchi, and so much more.
A special shoutout to Azizul, whose remarkable leadership is evident in every detail. His ability to see through the diners’ perspective and anticipate their needs is truly commendable. His presence on the floor, gathering feedback and engaging with guests, showcases his deep passion and pride in his work. Under his direction, the F&B team delivers not just meals but memorable dining experiences.
Endless Activities – Energy and Passion at Every Turn
One thing about Club Med: you’ll never be bored. The sports team keeps the program running with incredible energy, from yoga and abs workouts to boot camps and Float Fit. More than just instructors, they are motivators, constantly lifting the spirits of guests with their enthusiasm.
Among the amazing G.O team, Clarissa, Athena, Harry, and Sandy stood out as shining stars. Their sincerity, warmth, and infectious positivity made every moment more enjoyable.
The Spectacular Circus Team – A Show to Remember
The circus team—Sanndy, Ally, Hendry, Richie, and Aki—was simply phenomenal. Their performances felt like something straight out of Cirque du Soleil! Beyond the stunning shows, they were incredibly patient and encouraging during the classes, ensuring everyone’s safety while making the experience fun and rewarding. Their dedication and professionalism were beyond impressive.
Mini Club – A Team Full of Love and Joy
Even though I didn’t have kids with me, the Mini Club team treated us with the same warmth and attention as if we were their own guests. Rere, with her beautiful voice and radiant personality, alongside Chila, Ploy, and Mary, made our nights unforgettable—especially during the beach party, where we had an absolute blast, even without alcohol! Their energy and joy were simply contagious.
An Unforgettable Experience
This trip was beyond wonderful, and words can’t fully express our gratitude to the entire Club Med Bintan team. You have created a sanctuary where people can escape from the chaos of the world and rediscover genuine human connection. We look forward to our next Club Med adventure and hope that the love and warmth you share continue to spread across the globe.
